The first part of this book presents selected topics on thedevelopment of life cycle cost (LCC)as an economic assessment technique and other aspects of cost control for building projects in the construction industry. These selected topics enlighten the important and how the building owners and clients canthink holistically and act wiselyto identify potential cost saving and to achieve the best value for money on the investment made on the building throughout anticipated life span.
The second part of this book presents selected topics on Shari’ah compliance with regard to the subject matter and mediation in construction contract.
