Abstract In this research, the researcher studied the phenomenon of divorce in Iraq In general, and has chosen the city of Sulaimaniya as a case study, and focused on the most important Causes of aggravation of this phenomenon, the most important factors feeding them, whether Attached to the security, economic, social, or moral aspects, or Any other factors which have entered in this case that did not fall under the factors Mentioned above, citing some statistics gathered from Reliable sources, then Tried to mention some of the solutions that it deems appropriate to reduce the size of these Phenomenon, which threatens the very fabric of Iraqi society, focusing on the Legal, judicial, and social sides.
