Public spending on agriculture and irrigation had a positive impact on agriculture growth during that period, whereas public spending on fertilizer subsidies had the opposite effect. As Indonesia continues its efforts to revitalize the agriculture sector, public spending should be directed at improving the provision of public services rather than at subsidizing private inputs. 2012-08-13T10:41:53Z 2012-08-13T10:41:53Z 2010-04 http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2010/04/12114276/agriculture-public-spending-growth-example-indonesia http://hdl.handle.net/10986/10195 English Economic Premise; No. 9 CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo/ World Bank World Bank, Washington, DC Publications & Research :: Brief Publications & Research East Asia and Pacific Indonesia
