Summary:This report is a sequel to the Nigerian LP Gas Sector Improvement Study of 2004,which was produced by the World Bank Oil and Gas Policy Division with funding under the Energy Sector Management Assistance Programme (ESMAP). The objective of the Nigerian study was to investigate and identify reasons for the failure of the LPG market in Nigeria to live up to its potential, to develop a strategy for reviving Nigeria s domestic LPG market, and to expand LPG access to all, including to the poor, in Nigeria.
