The IAASTD was a useful experience at the nexus of politics and science. However, agricultural technology, with its complexity, diversity and politics, proved to be a bridge too far. The process itself was instructive and there is much useful information in the reports. However, the present review concludes that, for the substantial resources used, the program did not offer sufficient new knowledge or conceptual frameworks for decision makers. 2017-08-17T18:10:53Z 2017-08-17T18:10:53Z 2010-06-28 Book http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/636821468316165959/International-assessment-of-agricultural-knowledge-science-and-technology-for-development 978-1-60244-145-3 http://hdl.handle.net/10986/27911 English en_US Global Program Review 4(2); CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo World Bank Washington, DC: World Bank Publications & Research :: Publication Publications & Research
