Addressing the root causes of conflict and insecurity is a core priority of the World Bank Group. He raised six questions and challenges. First, fragility is no longer mostly limited to low-income states. Second, weak states have great difficulty delivering services to their citizens. Third, development and humanitarian groups have long worked separately. Fourth, refugees are no longer largely living in camps. Fifth, we now know that we will not have enough ODA – official development assistance – to pay for helping communities and refugees. Sixth, we don’t know enough about the refugees themselves. 2019-01-04T17:08:39Z 2019-01-04T17:08:39Z 2016-03-01 Speech http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/376711536672966898/Remarks-by-World-Bank-Group-President-Jim-Yong-Kim-at-the-Fragility-Forum-2016 http://hdl.handle.net/10986/31101 English Delivered at Washington, DC, March 1, 2016; CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo World Bank World Bank, Washington, DC Speech
