The objective of the analysis is to inform the World Bank Systematic Country Diagnostic and governmentplanning. The analysis focuses on areas where progress can be made in the next five years, consistent with the country’s long-term development path. The focus on short-term priorities to accelerate rural income growth needs to be implemented in a manner that is consistent with, and does not distract from, long-run goals and investments that will have very high future returns, especially for the poor. These include investments in child nutrition, health, and education. 2022-03-09T15:24:08Z 2022-03-09T15:24:08Z 2021-11-30 Report http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/099405012032129091/P168019000cc8805d0b6d0019d1797b2121 http://hdl.handle.net/10986/37099 English CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo World Bank Washington, DC: World Bank Report Publications & Research South Asia South Asia Bangladesh |
