Summary:This research is carried out based on the perception of Form 4 students towards the incorporation of Drama Techniques in the ESL Classroom. The purpose of this research is to get the students’ perceptions on whether they are able to reduce their anxiety, build confidence and grew interest towards learning English after the implementation of drama techniques in the lesson. The samples used in this study were 60 students - 30 Science stream students and 30 Account stream students. A set of questionnaire are distributed to them in order to gain the information needed. Based on the findings, the majority of students agreed that when drama techniques are incorporated, it reduces their anxiety of using English and develop their confidence and motivation towards learning English. In addition to that, most of them were also motivated to use English outside the classroom setting.
