The project that had been chosen for the final project is to propose a new interior design of GempakStaz Cosplay Boutique for GempakStarz Sdn. Bhd. At Sunway Pyramid, Lot OB3.LG2.1 Blue Atrium, No.3 Jalan PJS 11/15, Bandar Sunway 46150 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The reason proposing this retail is to encouraged all cosplayer to buy the product rather than “Doing It Yourself’. The product includes outfit’s from top to bottom such as, headgears, clothes, suit, pants, accessories, shoes, bags, and a lot more. The target market are citizen around Selangor and also the tourist especially that loves mangas. Besides that, target market also can be any College or University students that involved in the cosplay events that often organized by many College or University. Concept and image that had been chosen not only must be suitable with the products, but it must have a strong identity of GempakStarz so customers will familiar of GempakStarz design, where it will give a strong character to the retails. Other than that, the chosen design style for GempakStarz is based on “Urban Decon" design, which goes all the way with the client’s needs ass they want their retail to have the “Urban Decon” design look and at the same time would attract the customers to enter the retail. Before getting a desired design that is suitable with the client’s needs, some analysis has been done. The research included on types of customers that usually comes to Cosplay Boutique, type of services, type of products or brand that often buy from customers, spaces to be included in the proposed site as the proposed retail shop. Other information of the study is through interviews, printed media, internet, observation, and through the result from the case studies either locally or internationally.
