Study of dragonfly at Kampung Beting,Kuala, Pilah,Negeri, Sembilan would provide the mean of the habitat is disturbed or not. The objective of this study is to indicate the condition of Kampung Beting. The sampling of dragonfly is done on 17 September 2015-31 October 2015. There are 13 sampling that have been done. There are 201 total individual samples of dragonflies that were collected at Kampung Beting. The total of 201 individual represent only one family which is Libellulidae. The highest species of dragonfly with 70 individuals is Neurothemis ramburii and followed by Pantala flavescens with 38 individuals. The least species that were caught is Orthetrum pruinosum which account only 2 individuals. Species richness index at Kampung Beting indicate R=2.074, the diversity of dragonfly at Kampung Beting is calculated using Shannon diversity index where the diversity index shows H= 2.001.As for the evenness of dragonflies species at Kampung Beting is E=0.805 This indicates that the species richness, diversity and also evenness of dragonflies shows it is positive in correlation thus further conservation study could be done.
