Thus, the study was conducted to determine whether the final year diploma students in the area of engineering at the Malaysian Polytechnic Institutions have the intention to become entrepreneur upon graduation. Therefore, this study proposed the entrepreneurial intention among students can be explained by Ajzen’s (1991) Theory of Planned Behavior. This study also trying to investigate the role of attitudinal factors such as attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control, mediate the relationship between psychological characteristics and entrepreneurial intention.
