| Summary: | This paper aims to discover possible actors and artefacts on top of social media as part of the social research network sites (SRNSs) building blocks. 11 main papers relates social media with higher education, research works, business and professional learning network are being explicated. There are many social media being used by researchers however, the usage of Research 2.0 in academic collaborations is limited due to the limitation in coverage for research and development purposes. Results from this investigation identified 19 actors and we categorized them into 3 main groups of actors which are organizations administration, researchers as well as system administration and 39 artefacts for SRNSs. The list might expand in the future due to technological evolution and specific research requirements in the near future. |
