Jeli
from March 2004 to November 2022. He was a member of the
Malaysian United Indigenous Party
(BERSATU), a component party of the
Perikatan Nasional
(PN) and formerly
Pakatan Harapan
(PH) coalitions and the
United Malays National Organisation
(UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. He left UMNO for BERSATU in 2018, left BERSATU and retired from politics in 2023.
